11th Jan 1943: duty calls...
11 Mon. Mild by comparison - 48 degs: fairer with some pale sunshine. Walked along line in afternoon. Aunt Liza brought some meat for Dinky. I see by the displayed Fire Watching Rota I am on duty on Friday.
