14 March 1942: parsnips & tomatoes
14 Sat. Mildest day this year 56 degrees. The sun was lovely & the warmth could be felt: heavy rain at night. Dug up some parsnips & planted tomato seeds in pots. Shopping morning & afternoon but got all I wanted without a long journey. .
