Sun 1 Feb 1942: very cold, plenty of snow
Very cold, snowing all night and nearly all day; four inches have fallen but a slight thaw has set in, but it is still very thick and expect it will freeze again in the night. No callers. Started writing a letter to Chas.Staden. .
