Wed 14 Jan 1942: snow and soup
Freezing all day, heavy snow clouds, 2 1/2 ins of snow. Had to shovel and sweep snow from in front of house. In morning to grocers and butchers. Took some soup to Aunt Liza who is ill in bed. Did not do anything apart from household duties. .
