Monday 26th May 1941: Ciss in own bed
Mild, cloudy, rain almost all day: the wind is S.W. The shopping as usual. Bought tomato plants and planted them in the rain. Uncovered 37ins wing with a view to re-covering. Ciss slept in her own bed; first time since early in November.
