Monday 12th May 1941: Ciss starts at Holloway's

Very mild, some gentle sunshine; the wind is still N. but much more temporate. Ciss started work at Holloway's. Warning from 5.0 to 6.0 a.m. Along line to Wimbledon. Met Mr. Conrade who told me Harold was injured in a raid on Belfast. Warning at 11.42 p.m. , only a little distant gunfire; all clear at 1.50 a.m. on 13 Tues.
