Saturday 29th March 1941: windows measured
Cold, dull, bitter E. wind. To Wimbledon to do cats shopping: met Mr & Mrs Pontifex. Mr.Ward and a glazier measured windows for glass. Warning from 9.5 to 9.22 p.m., distant gun from the north. .
