Monday 24th February 1941: cats' sprats
White morning frost, bitterly cold, clear day. Walk along railway in afternoon and to buy sprats for cats, Aunts Liza and Hannah called. Raid warning at 8.25 p.m. Gun flashes in S.E. All clear at 10.25 p.m. .
