Very mild, slight showers in morning, gentle sun later, cool N.wind. Gave Alan Spooner two resistances and a condenser to form an intervalve coupling unit for their wireless, their unit having broke down. Alan fitted the new parts and got better results than before. To Conrade's in evening; took a sprig of the yellow rose Phyllis Gold for him to bud a briar stock. Also took a bloom to show him what it is like. Mrs Akroyd called later. Gave her some roses.
