26 May 1942: Uncle Tom ageing
26 Tues. Mild, heavy clouds, rain later, less wind. Uncle Tom called in morning, he is 81 and is beginning to look his age. Gave him a few things. Out afternoon to do a bit of shopping. Aunt Liza called.
